Why Acne Creams Don’t Work
Even though Acne is not subject to one particular age demographic, it is preponderant in young people–at one of the most self-conscious stages of life–their teenage years. The pharmaceutical corporations have basically jumped at the opportunity to quickly profit in on the struggles of Acne that are being faced by many hapless people across the country. This is why you see hundreds of Acne creams on the shelves of supermarkets today. There’s no doubt that if you go to the nearest pharmacy, you’ll see a flood of Acne creams manufactured by pharmaceutical companies. There are whole sections that are dedicated to the handling of acne breakouts. It’s no surprise that acne creams are by far the most popular treatment for acne than any other remedy out there. Even though all of these fancy creams exist, acne still continues to plague those very same people.
I had acne and before I cleared out my skin I was always asking myself “Why is there all of these acne products on the market but none of them seem to do squat about the problem?” The most little-known answer to this question is that poor hygiene does not completely attribute to acne. People wash their faces vigorously every day hoping to rid themselves of their acne . But facial washes are not even the answer to mitigate your acne problem. The best ways to fighting acne are not acne creams either. Acne creams may have the illusion of doing an excellent job of taking out the acne and helping the skin remain highly hygienic but in reality, there are tons of clear solutions that people are bypassing. Somebody has to say it: acne cannot be cured by any pharmaceutical company’s product. Period. Acne creams, despite their ineffectiveness, are still purchased everyday by many Americans who are unconsciously wasting hundreds of dollars each year. The way to relieve yourself of acne is done not with acne creams or facial washes, but by natural methods that you should and will take advantage of once you find out about them.

Acne creams don't work?So I've tried Proactive for a while and didn't get great results and have been trying a Neutrogena acne package and still poor results. Ive followed steps from many sites including acne.org and tried large amounts of benzoyl peroxide. All the results are the same and I still suffer from acne on my face and neck. Its a major confidence turn down and need to get this cleared up fast. Im really thinking of going to see a dermatologist. Any other suggestions? My acne appears mostly around the jaw line under the ear and an occasional one on the forehead. My forehead gets greasy fairly quickly while my neck and jaw areas get dryer but moisturizers don't help here. Im 19 and just want this gone!
Going to see your derma is the best option as I had waited too long and I have a few scars, but they're starting to fade. So go see your derma ASAP!References :
a derm would be a good idea.
go on ebay and try that cee-ens acne cream, it actually really worked i bought some and used it 2x a day and in less then a week the pimple went away, i just have a scar now because i popped the zit.
have you ever tried neosporin? it kills bacteria and soothes skin and prevents infection, which is what a pimple is, too much bacteria in your pore.
or put honey on your face when you go to bed at night, honey is also an anti-bacterial.
i make an aspirin mask. i crush some cheap uncoated aspirin and mix it with water and put it on my face for 10 mins, aspirin has sacilyic acid, which is found in most acne meds and it reduces swelling and inflammation!References :
Wow, I am in the exact same position as you. Honestly, a few years ago I saw a dermatologist and the salycic acid cream he prescirbed was too harsh for my skin, it sdid nothing but make my face redder. So make sure you get a good one who gives lots of options for treatments. Also, I am on Proactiv now with few results and am thinking of trying Biotin vitamin supllements. Do some research on them. They help your skin, hair, and nails. I am going to order them but I would ask around because it seems like a vitamin would help the INSIDE of your body to make for a healthier outside, right? Just that thought. Hang in there! glReferences :
dude im not trying to scare u or anything but go to a dermintalogist. dude same thing happend with me but it was cystic acne, and i got it wen i was 11 and now im 16 and i still have it. and it has ruiend my life. i have the worst social skills ever. dude where i use to b able to get any girl i want now im scared to talk to girls. dude it like u cant even imagine how acne has impacted my life. almost to the breaking point if u no wat i mean. luckly for me god wont let me go that far. but seriously go to a derm. dont let wat happend to me happen to u. cause like i get sooooooo super depressed. and ya. hope i helpd sorry if i scared u haha.References :
I know people are going to disagree with me in saying this but no Dermatologist is going to be able to save you. You're probably suffering with hormonal acne–not even a Dermatologist can prevent hormones from doing their thing.
The only things you can do to somewhat stave it off is to clean the affected areas morning, noon (if possible) and night. You don't need to use acne products, per se. Use something PH balanced and MOISTURIZE (yes, I said it). Moisturize everywhere. I know you said that it didn't help you, but you really have to stick with it to benefit from it. This is why: your sebaceous glands overcompensate with excessive oil production when your skin is dry, thus, resulting in more acne. So whether you apply it to areas that have acne or not, you are staving off oil that would otherwise be pumped from deep within your skin.
After washing your face, under your jaw and under your ears, apply a thin layer of moisturizer over those areas while still wet. DO NOT dry those areas with a towel. Let the moisture and the moisturizer air dry.
Try it, stick with it, and I guarantee you it will help (if not fully eradicate the problem).References :
The biggest problem might be your looking for a quick solution. Anything you take will take time. Some people see results in 1 week some in 2 weeks and some don't see any for 3-4 months. You have to clearly remember that the acne you have on your face has developed without you seeing it for the pass 2-4 weeks. Something triggered it which no one knows but your body.
Medically only thing that has been proven to heal acne period has been benzoyl peroxide. This doesn't not mean in anyway that this will work 100% of the time but majority of the people will get positive results from it.
One things that might be a factor that no one knows but you is what you eat. Being 19 years old guessing 90% chance that your not eating healthy. By this i mean your eating fast foods/pizza/ and a lot of fried food/maybe even chinese food. Eat healthy and this will help a lot.
Try EMC2 acne I am using it and has given me great results in the pass 2 months. I am sure you can do a search about this product. Also one more thing while I was using this product was Steam rooms. Make sure you shower before you go in and after the Steam room. I love how it made my skin feel after.References :

This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:
Search up "Cee En's Acne Solution" on ebay.

My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.
I don't have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.
