Microdermabrasion Acne Treatment
This treatment is a technique of smoothing the skin and unclogging skin pores. Although you may be surprised, microdermabrasion Acne treatment can be as effective as surgical and laser treatments for acne.
The procedure is relatively new, but its results are more than promising. The microdermabrasion acne machine is used first to clean the skin and peel out the dead cells’ layer. In doing that it clears out the blocked pores. The technique is similar to rather gently vacuuming your skin as opposed to the invasive action of surgery. The second phase of the process is spraying the skin with an aluminium oxide. This spray eliminates the outer layer of dead skin cells.
So in summary, microdermabrasion acne treatment effectively works in two ways. Firstly, existing acne is treated by the unclogging of the pore and secondly, the removal of the dead skin cell layer significantly reduces the chances of the pores being clogged. This in turn decreases the formation of those annoying pimples.
As well as having the advantage of treating your acne, you will notice that your skin complexion (smoothness) will be greatly increased because this procedure removes the irregularities present on the skin surface.
Please remember, that microdermabrasion acne treatment is not a definitive cure for acne but rather acts to decrease the risk factors that predispose to the formation of acne.
On average 6 treatments spaced 1-2 weeks apart are required to achieve the best results, although, one session of microdermabrasion can provide beneficial results, these results are not permanent and you will have to repeat the procedure every 4-6 months as part of maintenance treatment.
Precautions you should take:
The risks associated with microdermabrasion acne treatment are not very high due to the fact that, unlike surgery, it does not require any form of anaesthesia.
Mircodermabrasion may cause short or long-term pigment problems. Your skin tone may be increased temporarily or decreased for a longer period. It is safe to carry out procedures in Roaccutane patients but not until 6 – 9 months after they have finished treatment.
Also, if you have had any cold-sores, it would be advised that these are treated and cleared first before you undergo microdermabrasion.

what would be the best acne treatment I can get? microdermabrasion?was thinking about getting microdermabrasion. My acne is terrible and its only going to get worse for winter…im trying benzoyl peroxide and mosturizing lotion cream but thats not working. my acne is weird its gets wose out of the shower but looks better after a couple hours or if I sweat, something to do with the oils?
Actually, microdermabrasion might be too rough and only aggravate your skin, I recommend a chemical peel which a dermatologist can do or lots of spas. It should cost about $200.References :
This really works!
Use a hot compress on it (a washcloth, sponge, or anything that will allow you to apply moist heat to the area), and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, rinse it with warm water, blot off the excess water with a clean towel, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Good luck hope this helps! =)References :
You should try Noxzema. It works really well for me.

my darling 17yr old daughter had terrible skin…tried everything…Rodan & Fields, proactiv, roactuin, and loads of other remedies…recently whilst in Sephora the consultant approached her and told her to try Philosphy's micro dermabrasion discs we were really sceptical, as it was an expensive and long road that she has travelled…
Its been 2months now, her skin is looking fantastic, really its a miracle…at night she applies a new product from bare minerals it helps…this lady at Sephora was a dermatologist, and was so helpful..I hope this helps…the peroxide is way too harsh, please be careful…sometimes this can burn you permanently.References :

I had extremly bad skin untill i found some herbal pills called Clear complexion. You can buy them from Boots, Holland and Barrat, superdrug and other good shops.
They are quite cheap too, when i first heard of them i didnt think they would work as they are herbal but after a week they started to clear up and im now spot free.
You take 3 a day with food.References :
Here is a page of reviews by people who had microdermabrasion treatments to fight acne http://www.acne.org/microdermabrasion-reviews/206…
You can get some inexpensive home microdermabrasion kits like this one from Life Brand http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/english/life/2/1/7… Before spending hundreds on professional treatments maybe you could try the cheaper at-home one. I think I paid less than $20 for the one I bought, and it seems to work as well as more expensive brands. I've never had a treatment in a spa or dermatologist's office, so can't really compare the two. Good luck

go to the dermatologist and get some Clenia wash…quit washing your face in really hot water, quit scrubbing it, don't dry it out and don't burn it with chemicals. All you're doing it making it worse and making yourself look bad.
Get a mild soap (if you can't get to the dermatologist) Basis, Neutrogena..wash in luke warm water, use your hands or a wash cloth. Pat dry and use fragrance free lotion.References :
i had a similar problem and beauticontrol worked wonders. i tried proactive which only made me break out worse and really dried my skin. i started using beauticontrol and my face feels super clean and no more break outs. they do have a derma abrasion set also that will help with any acne scars but you should first have your face cleared up. i am such a believer in this stuff that i now sell it. heres my site if you are interested.
