Accutane is old stuff and not used by most physicians anymore. There are so many new good drugs out there for acne that work. Stay out of the sun. You can take oral antibiotics such as Doryx that work great for some along with duac gel. Some people do great with the benzoyl peroxide cleansers and RX products and for others they need something else. Retinoids such as finacea and tazorac and differin have helped millions of people. Some are more irritating than others; what will be irritating to one person, will be fine for someone else. Ask around and find the best dermatologist you can who will know about all these drugs available now to help you. At makeupalley.com you can read the boards about acne and what others use to get rid of theirs.
