What do i do my acne is ruining my life right now?
Im breaking out really bad these past two weeks and im on medicine for it. Before that i was on accutane and it cleared me up and just left me with red marks now im getting again and its making me depressed and not want to socialize at all. How can i reduce the redness Help?!
first off continue using the medication your doctor has prescribed to you, secondly try adjusting your diet which can include more water and less sugar and fats, thirdly just try to think more positively about your situation because sometimes the stress can lead to even worse breakouts

Go see another dermatologist. Accutane is old stuff and not used by most physicians anymore. There are so many new good drugs out there for acne that work. Stay out of the sun. You can take oral antibiotics such as Doryx that work great for some along with duac gel. Some people do great with the benzoyl peroxide cleansers and RX products and for others they need something else. Retinoids such as finacea and tazorac and differin have helped millions of people. Some are more irritating than others; what will be irritating to one person, will be fine for someone else. Ask around and find the best dermatologist you can who will know about all these drugs available now to help you. I don’t subscribe to the school that diet is a factor and neither do most dermatologists who know about skin conditions like acne.
