Hey just to say … Hey just to say since watching this video 4 weeks ago my skin has changed so much! the only time I have broken out is when my skin was it was my time of month and my generally looks brighter, clearer pores! My red scars are still here unfortunately but I know I just have to be patient and have started using bio-oil so am going to see how that goes.Thank you so much! When you do have breakouts what do you use to get rid of them, ie do you use spot treatments like netrogena spot gel

  • 159candy159:

depending on your … depending on your skin rough washes with beads can aggravate your skin. Its best to use non beady treatments, like cetaphil and other smooth products

  • swimloverts95:

I love the … I love the neutrogena oil free acne wash it is gentle

  • bammab12:

that neutragena … that neutragena works soo good!! it cleared my skin soo quickly!!

  • yoghurtsky:

thanks for this, i … thanks for this, i have oily acne-prone skin like you do in your past videos, i hope to achieve better skin like you have done too!

  • lanamku:

try bio oil or … try bio oil or vitimin E oil for acne scars

  • xevanesco:

If you're sensitive … If you're sensitive to mineral oil, then it might clog your pores; I don't find anything wrong when I'm using it and I love it!

  • xxlilpilch666xx:

Isnt ponds cream … Isnt ponds cream really greasy and will make your skin oily and break out?

  • xevanesco:

30 seconds and … 30 seconds and mornings with water and night with the face wash

  • LittleMadPyro:

What I can … What I can recommend is: Drink enough water (acne is like the big brother of dry skin), moisturise, use natural cosmetics (f.e. mineral powder), a mild facial wash, exfoliate 2-3 times/week, try facial masks and never ever go to bed wearing your make up. ^_^

  • Sycorah:

Scars fade over … Scars fade over time — over many months, so your scars are healing with time, not Mederma. If you look at Mederma's claims, it says that the "onion bulb extract" is what fades your scars. Onion bulbs have nothing in them that actually reduces scars…

  • xxxDABADDESTxxx:

mederma worked for … mederma worked for me…?

  • xevanesco:

That's good to know … That's good to know! (:

  • xevanesco:

That's what they … That's what they say, and this is what I say.

It follows the "If your friend jumps off a bridge, would you?" kind of thing. Do what YOU think is necessary. Don't even follow my advice if you think it's a bit too rough to exfoliate more than once or twice, it is eventually up to you, (:

  • crazieecool:

some people say … some people say that you should only exfoliate once or twice a week at max though…

  • Sycorah:

Do not waste your … Do not waste your money on Maderma. So many people on YouTube are saying it reduces scars, but it's a total advertising scam. Maderma (and those other "scar" creams) have *no* scar-reducing ingredients. Ask any dermatologist and they will tell you that the only ingredients that can reduce scarring are retinol and hydroquinone.

i work at walgreens … i work at walgreens with soooo many neutrogena, olay, cetaphil, and ponds products… its nice to know which ones are good!
i have tried cetaphil and i like it! and the neutrogena transparent bar soap is pretty good too.

  • xevanesco:

The Olay one isn't … The Olay one isn't abrasive at all – about a 3! – the exfoliating beads are really small and soft. The Neutrogena one, though is a bit rough – I would say a 7 – f it's too rough, try scrubbing with your ring fingers, I do that sometimes when I have a sunburn on my face.

  • ashleyanders:

Oh and, Retinol … Oh and, Retinol actually helps with scars! I think it has something to do with it speeding up cell turnover or something?. But I've been using one of the Neutrogena creams with Retinol and my scarring and acne are improving. So taking Vitamin A pills or topical creams might work great for helping the scars fade a bit faster. Mine took about 3-4 years, and are STILL fading. Uhg.

  • ashleyanders:

Alternating … Alternating cleansers irritates/breaks out my skin haha. I've been using the same cleanser for almost 2 years (Herbalism from LUSH) and it's made my skin way nicer.

Also, with acne, it's generally better to use as little abrasive product as possible. Whenever I use harsh exfoliators, my skin breaks out quite a bit.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the abrasive quality of the Olay and Neutrogena scrubs? On the back of the hand though, my face is quite pressure sensitive :(

You are the cutest You are the cutest

  • hollyccam:

bcp's are great but … bcp's are great but honestly id never take the ones that pretty much stop your period for several months, its soo unatural

  • 5ugartoots:

You should try Mask … You should try Mask of Magnaminty from Lush when you have breakouts because it helps! :)

  • HELLOSUNSHiiNEE:

I have very bad … I have very bad acne due to very oily skin
Dx and i like kill oil sheets haha
    but thanks for the recommendations.!

  • tangirl716:

    how long do you …
how long do you wash your face for… like how many minutes?
And how often do you wash your face… like how many times a day? :D thanks!
