im on accutane its … im on accutane its been 3 and a half months i had severe acne! note had. now i just have pretty bad red marks and the ocasional spot as opposed to like 10 a day im on it for 6 months kinda looks good so far wish it worked faster. just the common dry lips and skin dont worrie about all these stories of terrible side effects and especially deep dark depression its all in the mind. stay strong!
Oh and I’m on a 3 … Oh and I’m on a 3 and half month course, taking 4 tablets a day, either throughout the day or all at once, I take my all at once so I don’t forget.
Just started … Just started accutane 3 weeks ago, I have dry skin, and extremely chapped and dry skin around the mouth area, I cant open my mouth properly, Ive noticed that I feel a lot more tired, I have lower back ache and for awhile my little finger on my left hand felt numb and tingly, but so far nothing is killing me and it’s all bearable depending on wether vaseline is available. I just had my second blood test today now and awaiting results, hopefully positive so I can stay on accutane.

So now, I’m on my 3rd month of my second try.

Best of it is – my doctor doesn’t want me to go on a higher dose because its “annoying”
accutane does work, … accutane does work, i’m so happy i took it. I remember watching this video before i started my cycle and I was so excited, seeing his flawless skin after the treatment. It worked really well for me, the treatment is usually 5-6 months, but I stopped after 4 because my acne was almost completely gone and the chapped lips were more of a problem. Take accutane, don’t worry about the sides!
i don’t think it … i don’t think it matters when u take it, just so u try and take it around the same time every day. Also,it’s best to take it with a meal or a glass of milk, just make sure u take it with something or else something fatty, which is the best to do b/c it helps the body absorb the accutane A Lot better. Swallow it as fast as possible n don’t chew it or suck on it b/c if it breaks open it can damage ur esophagus when going down ur throat. That’s what the iPledge book that the derm gave me said

Ur height and weight should be taken into consideration too when the doc is deciding how many mg to put u on.

I’ve also heard of some who had to do a second or third course of it cuz their acne eventually came back, but it is supposed to get rid of acne forever for about 80% of patients, well, i’m pretty sure that’s what my dermatologist said

im on accutane and i strongly suggest it. i get chapped lips but other than that i love having clear skin. my acne was pretty bad but now my skin is great. ive been on it for about 5 months and i couldnt be happier. just dont give up!

And the breaking out is pretty bad, too. I just hope it gets better, your skin is so clear now, i want that so bad. I only take 1 pill a day and go in 1ce a month for blood. Interesting.

1Barton1 – im not … 1Barton1 – im not on accutane yet, but ive seen on a lot of other accutane vlogs that redness is probably caused by sun exposure – especially if you have light skin. accutane makes your skin waaay more sensitive to the sun. so, i wouldnt stop taking it, just be sure to wear sunscreen all the time at a very high spf (like spf 50 or 70), especially on your face. when in doubt call your derm! he/she should be able to offer suggestions without you having to quit the whole treatment. hope that helps.
